For those of us inexplicably drawn to the beach, there's no way to explain it but the feelings it brings. The calm, peacefulness of the water and how your worries seem to wash away just like the waves wash over the sand is just a small part of it.

There's no reason you can't decorate your home wherever it is with coastal style. I did this years before we moved to the beach, and honestly, I think it gave our family the inspiration and the drive to move to the beach much sooner than we'd planned.

I have always wanted my home to be a safe, calm, peaceful environment wherever it is, and bringing in coastal decor helped it feel that way and helped me get by in between beach vacations.
